The Research Council of Norway has a new call for three-year researcher projects with international mobility. The purpose is to promote international mobility and career development among researchers early in their careers, and to contribute to the transfer of knowledge to Norwegian research environments. The call is aimed at researchers at postdoctoral level, who will spend two years at a research organisation abroad and the third year at a Norwegian research organisation. The funding covers both salary for three years and various other costs. The application deadline is 10 February 2021.
The Centre for Digital Life Norway (DLN) has teamed up with the Swedish life science research institution Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab) to help PhDs and postdocs associated to DLN connect with excellent research groups at SciLifeLab to apply for the grant.
SciLifeLab is an institution for the advancement of molecular biosciences in Sweden. It is funded as a national research infrastructure by the Swedish government. Exciting postdoc opportunities can for example be found in the groups of SciLifeLab fellows. The SciLifeLab Fellows program is a career program, aiming at strengthening Swedish research in molecular biosciences by international recruitment of excellent, young researchers, and SciLifeLab offers a strong interdisciplinary research environment in close proximity to a cutting-edge research infrastructure.
